Free two-hour events to showcase different community-led initiatives to support good health and well-being in Birmingham, celebrate successes, and discuss best ways forward.
In 2022, a number of local residents shared their stories, and reflected on the barriers they often face when trying to lead healthy lives. Based on the findings from different listening projects, Aston University and Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust offered funding to community organisations to help support local residents in a variety of innovative ways.
Join us at Welcome Change Community Centre and Café to find out what the different projects were! In this session, we will briefly talk about health and wellbeing in Birmingham before showing four short 5-minute videos showcasing the amazing work done in the City to promote good health and well-being. There will be an opportunity for discussion, after the videos, and for suggesting new ways forward.
Food and refreshments will be available.
All welcome!
