School Holiday Wellbeing across the 20th and 21st Centuries

Group of kids running through the grass holding hands.

Lifelong wellbeing theme

What’s on offer?

Participants will be encouraged to think about their school holiday experiences and how they felt about them, the kind of activities they remember doing or places they spent them, as well as how they might have contributed to their well-being negatively or positively. They will be asked to add a contribution to the Mural timeline directly onto the board via a laptop or by writing or drawing these on paper for upload to the Mural by the researcher.

What’s it about?

A stall where we will present some of the findings from PhD research focussed on exploring young people’s well-being during the school holidays and encourage festival attendees to contribute their recollections of school holidays to a collaborative Mural (digital) timeline.

Who’s leading the event?

Susie Smillie from the School of Social and Political Sciences
