Drop-in event. An art installation consisting of paper sculptures, inspired by medical correspondence and leaflets linked to Human Papillomavirus (HPV), that aims to prompt conversation around the virus and positive diagnosis.
Being diagnosed with any medical condition may generate a wide range of reactions and feelings. This is the case for Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Patients often read their Private and Confidential letters alone, but what happens after that? Do they disclose their content, do they keep it for themselves? What happens to the words written on these pages?

Those who have had a positive diagnosis of HPV, or with friends or family who have.
This is a drop-in event.
The exhibition will be open outwith the Festival dates also, from 20th September to 20th December, and can be visited at any time during the library opening hours:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10am to 4.30pm
Thursday: 10am to 7pm
Saturday: 12pm to 4pm
