Webinar with animation and slides (powerpoint) via MS Teams – 1 hour
Followed by a short video debrief to cover the main points of the webinar.
The session will be interactive.
This webinar will provide insights from recent research on the experience of neurodiverse and/or disabled workers (NDW) in remote working contexts. The pandemic led to vast numbers of people working remotely for the first time. The webinar will explore both the opportunities and risks of working remotely for NDW’s. Attendees will come away with an understanding of:
- The experience of neurodiversity and disability in the workplace;
- Why it is important for employers to consider the needs of NDW;
- What is remote working?
- What role can remote working play in accommodating NDW?
The Remote4All project is relevant to all organizations that have remote workers and in particular those with disabled and or neurodivergent remote workers. The findings of the Remote4All project have been disseminated widely and found to aid organisations in devising key strategies to support this population of remote workers.
An animation will be shown to employee findings followed by a short discussion on challenges for employees. Employers’ themes and findings will be discussed alongside good practice and guidance.
