Close-up of a hand holding another hand in a caring manner

Lifelong wellbeing theme

What’s on offer?

This drop-in event invites participants to explore their perspectives and experiences of care through a number of creative and artistic activities. All materials will be provided and participants will be able to keep their creations.

What’s it about?

An opportunity for citizens to explore their “care” and “caring” relationships with the city of Glasgow. As the participant, tell us what ‘care’ means to you and share your experiences, whether that be of formal or informal care support structures and services, caring organisations (public and private), friends, family members, formal and informal carers.

Take part in fun, creative and thought-provoking activities, such as:

  • Draw your “Individual Portrait of Care”
  • Design your own “Care” tote bag
  • Contribute to a 3D Glasgow Map of Care
  • Create your own 3 chapter book

Who’s leading the event?

Professor Paul Rodgers, Design Manufacturing & Engineering Management, University of Strathclyde

Of particular interest to

Those who have experience of care, either having been cared for or caring for others.
