What’s on offer?

An interactive activity where individuals can map, draw, list and identify their understanding of what 'belonging' means.

This includs translating the word 'Belonging' , describing it, identifying areas and spaces where participants feel they belong . 

What’s it about?

The event explores the theme of belonging and how it manisfests. It aims to answer the questions "what does belonging mean to you", "where do you belong" and "why"

Who’s leading the event?

Helina is a PhD candidate looking at the concept of ‘belonging’; specifically on how marginalised communities understand and experience this in new and changing spaces.

The Event is aimed at young people of ages 13 - 18, studying English as their additional language

Schools and educational settings for young people with English as an additional language

The event will be held across two days: 3/11/2023 from 10:00 - 15:00 and again 6/11/2023 10:00 - 15:00
