Nature, Tradition, and Local Knowledges: exploring sustainability through art and reflections

A forest with the centre river forming the continents of the world

What’s on offer?

Join us between 12-1pm or 2-3pm for a one workshop activity to reflect on indigenous and traditional ways of thinking about the natural world through art and conversation

What’s it about?

Indigenous and traditional literacies about the natural environment are often overlooked within mainstream discussions on sustainability. This mini workshop is an adapted version of a larger research project that explored the use of these literacies to respond to modern sustainability challenges
