Surveillance has always been a feature of childhood. However recent technologies innovation have enabled the monitoring of young people to reach unprecedented levels of intensity and ubiquity. In this closed event we have invited school children and familes about their use of surveillance within their family. We want to ask some tough questions, is monitoring your teenage children via technologies, control or care? is it an invasion of privacy, does it make you anxious? Are we now the data captures for the big tech companies? we want to hear the young people's voices.
