How Can We Better Support the Needs of Unpaid Carers of Older People? You Matter Too!

What’s on offer?

Join us for a one-and-a-half hour online event for members of the public who identify as unpaid carers of older people (aged over 65). We will discuss findings from recent research and present our new draft carers resource for your feedback. Your thoughts will be used to refine the resource and inform ongoing and future studies within the Living and Dying Well research group’s programme. 

What’s it about?

Unpaid carers, often family members, friends, or neighbours, are crucial for enabling older people to access support and help them to live well. Caring can have a positive and rewarding impact. However, unpaid carers themselves need information to carry out this important work. Drawing on findings from recent research, a new unpaid carers resource has been developed, which we now need your help to refine. 

Benefits of attending include being part of developing resources to support unpaid carers thereby improving the care of older people.
