Lifelong wellbeing theme

What’s on offer?

The session will open with an interactive presentation on the rise of gambling sponsorship and marketing within the realm of football and sport. This will include audience engagement and a quiz element developed from materials we are using as part of the project. After some reflection, there will be an introduction to One Last Spin – a movie created by Machine Zone about the lived experiences of gambling harm.

What’s it about?

This event showcases the tactics of the gambling industry and the harms that can come with gambling. The need for this type of education is a key preliminary finding of FFAB. The film screening is an opportunity to give further nuance to the messaging through an excellent film portraying the experiences of those harmed by gambling and gives a platform to the voices of people with lived experiences.
