What’s on offer?

The session will involve discussing practical strategies and employee rights before encouraging group discussion for the sharing of good practice and useful resources.

There will be opportunity at the end for attendees to discuss specific workplace issues with the session leader.

What’s it about?

Are you looking to improve your wellness at work? Dr Charl Emmerson is proud to present ‘Enjoying the Journey. Striving for Workplace Wellness’, an educational seminar designed to help employees understand practical strategies for how to improve their workplace wellbeing and to better understand their rights as employees.

This event will provide attendees with valuable insight into how they can improve wellbeing in the workplace while also understanding their employer's legal responsibility for their wellbeing. Charl is an organisational psychologist specialising in workplace wellbeing, and will cover topics such as working from home, discrimination and bullying, and reasonable adjustments for disabilities and additional needs.
The seminar will be interactive, providing attendees with opportunities to ask questions and seek advice on specific issues they are facing. Whether you are an employer or employee, this event promises invaluable advice that can help improve both productivity and morale within your organisation. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity – join us at Northumbria University for ‘Enjoying the Journey. Striving for Workplace Wellness’ as part of the Festival of Social Sciences 2023!
