What’s on offer?

A panel discussion

What’s it about?

From online wellness communities to mental health apps, digital technologies are increasingly central to wellbeing. While these technologies aim to have positive effects on their users' mental health, the fact is that such well-intentioned technologies can end up doing harm.

Come and hear from our expert panel working on how digital technologies can promote wellbeing and the challenges of doing so. Hosted by the ESRC Digital Good Network, which asks: what does a good digital society look like, and how do we get there? This is a hybrid event.

Who’s leading the event?

Professor Helen Kennedy, Professor of Digital Society at University of Sheffield
