An exhibition of the words of people directly affected by the cost-of-living crisis
Inflation, surging gas and food prices have thrust more individuals into poverty. Those who once donated to food banks now depend on them for sustenance.
Tackling the cost-of-living crisis is a matter of social justice. Rising expenses burden families with children, low-income households, lone parents and disadvantaged communities unequally across the UK. It can feel overwhelming, but this is a very human issue.
‘Dear Government…’ is an exhibition featuring the lives of people directly affected by the crisis, using their own words and images to convey the true impact of the current cost of living.
The exhibition will be of particular interest to anyone wishing to see how images can illustrate a social injustice and the impact of the government policy on people and communities.
