This event will showcase the benefits of coaching for improving your well-being. Whether you are a business owner/manager, a coach, or someone interested in coaching, you will be introduced to the foundations of coaching for well-being. During this 2-hr introduction, we will outline why coaching is important; provide you with an initial coaching model that can be used to support others' personally, or in your workplace; and provide a practical session where you can see for yourself the benefits of coaching for well-being.
This event will be led by Dr Alison Sydenham, a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director from the University of Exeter, Business School. Alison offers a wealth of experience both in terms of teaching excellence and Professional HR capabilities. She has over 20yrs experience working in HR, both within practice and as an established consultant and 2,500hrs of coaching experience, specialising in mental well-being and neurodiversity. Her Ph.D. explored the impact of workplace coaching on mental well-being; it is the findings from this research that she will share with you today.
Michele Deeks, a chartered psychologist with over 20 years of experience, will also be speaking at the event. Michele combines her expertise as an occupational psychologist and her passion for positive psychology to focus on developing simple, practical solutions to help leaders, managers and staff to flourish.
