An exhibition of photographs and short videos highlighting the transformation of care practices involving assistance from animals, particularly dogs (for people with PTSD, autism, dementia, other physical and mental health conditions and disabilities).
Learn how assistance dogs are trained, how they deliver care and the role and benefits of companion animals and assistance dogs in promoting the wellbeing and independence of people with disabilities. Talks will explore the access difficulties they face in everyday life, and how improving public access would benefit those who require daily assistance.
